Hey there, pals! It's that time of the year again - my birthday month!
Yes, this month is really special, don't you think? It's the month after the semester ends when you get to be free, and it's a month filled with romance and birthdays. I'm so excited for my birthday.
When it comes to celebrating my own awesomeness, I'm happiest when I'm alone... but not lonely! I don't really have much experience with 'best friends', since I seem to get dumped every time - ah, the irony! So my motto is always 'self love' - and why not have a little fun with it?
Sadly this year I have my jury, can’t miss it yo! Nevertheless I do have plan after that. Yehhh
My buddy says there's nothing quite like my bond with travelling. Heck yeah! I’m putting forward one of those special memories here.
One such travel story is on the temple city, yes I am talking about gokarna. Nothing compares to the beauty of a beach, and this was no exception. It was my 21st birthday - a break from the harsh reality of the pandemic. It was so special to me! The picturesque view of the Arabian Sea with the rocks jutting on one side was a sight that I will never forget.

My parents might be a bit shocked if they read this, Believe it or not, I didn't exactly have my parents' permission to make this trip. I told them my darling sister and I were going to visit a friend's place in Tumkur. Instead, we flew to Gokarna and it was probably the best decision I ever made. Although it was risky and could have backfired, we were able to have an amazing time and create unforgettable memories.
There is nothing quite like the feeling of living life by the ocean. Waking up each day with the sun on your face and the sound of the waves crashing in the distance is truly a special thing. For 4 long days we were by the beach living in a tent, spent all day at shack, grabbing some delicious seafood. After our meal, we'd return to the ocean for one more dip in the wild waves. No trekking or exploring, just us and the waves.

This picture might be blurry, low quality etc.. but holds a lot within.
Anthony Bourdain said “Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”
Like wise I did feel all of it. There were amazing parts and also few encounters, that's what completes a journey.
The sun was setting, painting the sky orange and pink, as if it was bidding us a fond farewell. And we, lost in its beauty, just standing there, mesmerized by its beauty, not wanting it to end. It was a birthday like no other - filled with laughter, adventure, and new friends. From cutting the cake with strangers to screaming in the middle of the night, gaze, it was a day that will never be forgotten.
